This series is name after the song “Africa”, where the group Toto sang about their fantasized love of the continent. Stephen had the chance to do a safari trip through the Serengeti glass plane. But Instead of painting what he saw, Stephen painted what he felt. Each painting showcase one of the unique animals in the Maasai territory, and its action ties to one line in the lyrics of the song.
