Description
Stephen SouDuster, an expressionist artist, paints experiences. Every painting in his Painted Stories collection tells a story. The paintings are often layered with related songs or poems to give the paintings added dimensions.
Frank Sinatra’s song offered the perfect setting for this painting. “But through it all, when there was doubt, I ate it up, and spit it out. I faced it all, and I stood tall, and did it my way.” Life is full of trade-offs. But we often have to make decisions without full knowledge. Much like the little kid here, packing all he has into his little bag, goes out on his own, knows the ugly journey, thus sings the old man’s swan song.
Available at Stephen’s Studio for local pickup are Original (36″x36″) or Hand-touched Giclée on Canvas (36″x36″). The hand-touched giclée is hand-signed and labeled around the edges. It is worthy of your fire mantel space.
See Stephen’s Art Prints for Giclée on Artist Paper (14″x14″) and on Canvas (12″×12″).
See Custom by Stephen for custom modification with your story using this painting as a starting point.
As computer monitors can have different calibration, the colors on your monitor may differ slightly from the printed artwork.
