About the artisans: Prokritee supports over 1500 rural artisans who use renewable materials – from recycled sari to natural fibers – to create inspired product designs. The income women earn through employment with Prokritee helps them secure proper housing, adequate food and education for their children. The workshops offer safe working conditions and source locally available materials, so that families can stay together in their home villages.
