Description
The 2023 Acadia Art Calendar is created from Catherine Breer’s landscape paintings dedicated to celebrating the beauty of the Acadia National Park, the first national park on the Atlantic coast. The area was made famous in the mid-1800s by the many visiting artists who were attracted by its natural beauty. Early conservationists had worked hard to preserve the land for future generations to enjoy. In 1916 President Wilson announced the creation of Sieur de Monts National Monument. And in 1919, the Lafayette National Park, which was later renamed as Acadia National Park, was established.
Catherine frequents the Acadia park. In her words, “The natural beauty and diversity of Acadia never ceases to amaze me, and has always been an inspiration to me as an artist. To be part of the preservation of this magical place is both an honor and a privilege.”
This 2023 Acadia art calendar comes in three formats:
- Poster Calendar: Each month comes in a 11″ x 14″ single sheet; suitable for framing as posters
- Desk Calendar: Each month comes in a 5″ x 7″ single sheet; suitable for framing as small posters or carrying in a binder
- Display Calendar: Each month comes in a 5″ x 5.5″ single sheet, stored in a clear plexi case that can be folded into a display stand; suitable for display on desk or counter top
Calendar is printed on thick 80 point quality paper, using FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) stock with recycled content at a facility powered by wind power. Made in the USA.
